Untitled Spring Poem
The
Silent
Shimmering
Star studded sky
Surrounds snow splashed
Fields and forest floors.
Orion
Smiles
Serenely down
On Maple, Oak, and Birch
Softly swaying in
Susurrous spring
Wisps of wind.
As Cassiopeia
Carefully
Creeps
Across the crisp,
Clear,
Horizon,
We freely follow frosted
Footprints
Finally fading.
We Slow.
We Stop.
Ahead a
Simple, Sleek
Slim, Surefooted doe
Slips and
Skids on
Stardusted
Shoots of
Spring.
